Top 4 iPad alternatives coming soon

Article by Mike McAleer

You will learn what the top 4 iPad alternatives are that are coming very soon to a store near you. Is the iPad really all that great? I think that it is a spectacular tablet PC that allows you to have fun with games while being productive. Despite being so good, there are faults with anything. The iPad did not have Flash, USB, SD card slot, good speakers, etc. The new devices in the industry have sought to change that so that the iPad is taken out of the top spot for tablets. There were a few good ones in 2010 including the Samsung Galaxy Tab, HP slate, and Dell Inspiron Duo. This year we will be looking at a lot more tablets that could compete with the iPad and even the new iPad 2. There is the Asus eeePad which is awesome in its keyboard design. There’s the Blackberry Playbook which takes advantage of the Blackberry lovers. There is also the Motorola Xoom which is looking good for anyone who likes Motorola based products.

First we will talk about the Asus eeePad and how good of a iPad alternative it could possibly be in the year 2011. It is from Asus which is a very good electronics company. When I first saw the demo videos, I was very surprised at the awesomeness of this cool tablet computer. Instead of being a single slate, this device has several different options that are spin off hybrids. There is the Transformer which allows you to attach a keyboard or take it off. There is the Slider which allows you to have a messenger phone type style keyboard slide out from the tablet. Lastly there is a tablet called the MEMO which is a simple PDA like the old days. It looks a tad like an old Palm Pilot.

Next is the Blackberry Playbook which I like a lot because I like the Blackberry. This is a very sexy looking thing that I would love to spend my time with ( wink wink). I really like the way that Research in Motion Company does things with their electronic devices so this will be a must-purchase for me.

Another iPad alternative is the Motorola Xoom which I think could be a very good competitor. The iPad is also going to be on Verizon now so I can not be absolutely sure how well this one will do.

That is all for now folks. I suggest that you have a look into these great proposals.
